Oleh Yu. Voitiuk

Senior Lieutenant Oleh Voitiuk was killed on February 13, 2023 near the village of Yampolivka in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, returning from the positions, he received a gunshot wound incompatible with life. The officer was 46 years old. Oleh was born in the village of Boratyn, Rivne region. He studied at the Dovhaliv Secondary School of I-III degrees. In 1998, he graduated from the Lviv National University of Environmental Management and obtained the qualification of mechanical engineer. He served in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. In civilian life, he worked as an assistant operator in the Vog group of companies. He was fond of fishing. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily went to the TCC and received a summons. On March 16, 2022, he joined the 125th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Initially, he was an officer of the headquarters planning group. In February 2023, he voluntarily wrote a report on transfer to the position of commander of a rifle platoon. He carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region. "The most important thing for our dad was the family. He greatly valued the loyalty and respect of friends. His greatest dream was for his children to live in a free and independent Ukraine," said the wife of the fallen warrior, Halyna. The officer was buried in the Field of Honorable Burials of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. At home, Oleh was awaited by his wife, son and daughter.
