- Main Sergeant Oleksandr Feshchenko (call sign Zamok) was killed on June 11, 2023 near the village of Novopil in the Donetsk region. While performing his duties, the defender sustained fatal injuries during an enemy mortar attack. The warrior was 55 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in the city of Polohy, Zaporizhzhia region. He graduated from the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic". During his student years, he was part of the handball team. He worked in a field other than his profession, choosing a passion - creating interiors and exteriors. He was a very good painter and wood carver. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man left his usual life and joined the ranks of the 110th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He aspired to protect his loved ones and native lands. "Dad was an incredible person, sincere, kind and caring. He taught his children a lot and took care of them. He wanted to teach his grandson to be a real man: to think with his head and be able to do everything with his hands, not to be afraid of difficulties," said the deceased's younger daughter, Darya. The soldier was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Krasnopilsky cemetery in Dnipro. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, two daughters, a grandson and a granddaughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
