Oleksandr A. Miahkyi

Soldier Oleksandr Myahkyi was killed on December 3, 2022 during offensive actions near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. The warrior was forever 37 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Skelky, Zaporizhia region. He graduated from the Vasylivskyi Professional College of TDATU and obtained the qualification of an agronomist. He worked as a tractor driver at Tandem-Alpha LLC. He was married and raised two children whom he loved more than anything, dedicating his free time to them. When the full-scale war began, he evacuated his family from the occupation to the Chernivtsi region. In October, he was voluntarily drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in the United Kingdom and became a fighter of the 25th Separate Airborne Si cheslav Brigade. He took the position of a machine gun crew member and went to the front line. "My husband was one of the best people. Loving, caring, courageous and brave. The best father for our children. His comrades-in-arms assure that he was a true warrior, a man of courage, an example of indomitability and strong spirit," said Kateryna Ivchenko. The paratrooper was buried at the Kushuhum cemetery near the city of Zaporizhia. His wife Kateryna, son Andrii, and daughter Sofiia did not wait for their protector.
