- Soldier Oleksandr Palmov (call sign Batya) was killed on October 1, 2022 near the village of Sukhyi Stavok in the Kherson region. During a combat mission, he came under powerful enemy fire and received fatal injuries. The fighter was 48 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Kuniv (Russia). He lived in the village of Dobrovelychkivka, Kirovohrad region. He graduated from the Lipniak Secondary School of I-II degrees. He worked as a construction worker. He was married and tried to devote his free time to his family. During the full-scale war, the man became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect the peaceful future of his loved ones. He served in the ranks of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Kostiantyn Hordiienko. "Oleksandr was a very kind and sensitive person. He always rushed to help everyone, he was the soul of the company. He voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces and fought in the hottest spots in the East and South of Ukraine. He always enjoyed authority among his comrades-in-arms. He promised his wife and little daughter to return alive and unharmed, but his life was taken by the ruthless war," said the deceased's niece Anastasia. The defender was buried in the village of Dobrovelychkivka in the Kirovohrad region. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, wife, daughter, sister and nephews.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
