Oleksandr A. Tsishenko

Olexandr Andriivych Tishenko was born on December 18, 1980, in the village of Florine in the Vinnytsia region. After graduating from Bershad Secondary School No. 1, Olexandr studied at Horlivka Medical College, where he mastered the profession of dental technician. He worked in this specialty in Vinnytsia until he was called up to the ATO. In 2016, he participated in the ATO. Since 2017, he worked as an inspector in the department of control over municipal property at the Municipal Guard of Vinnytsia. In 2022, with the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he participated in the defense of his homeland against the aggressor. He was killed on March 6, 2022, during a shelling by a multiple launch rocket system in the battles for the city of Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region. He is survived by his parents. For personal bravery and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, soldier Olexandr Andriivych Tishenko was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
