Oleksandr A. Ustymenko

Born on July 10, 1983, in the village of Havyrylivka, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region. Graduated from the general education school in the village of Havyrylivka. Lived in the village of Lytvynivka, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region. In 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as the commander of a mechanized platoon of the 7th company of the 3rd battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Since the summer of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 29, 2014, Lieutenant Ustyimenko was killed by a sniper's bullet near the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region. He is buried in the cemetery of the village of Havyrylivka, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region.
