- Born on July 23, 1977, in the city of Zaporizhzhia. In 1994, he graduated from general education school No. 100 in Zaporizhzhia (now Zaporizhzhia Specialized School No. 100), then graduated with honors from vocational school No. 38 in Zaporizhzhia (now the State Educational Institution "Zaporizhzhia Higher Vocational School of Services"), obtaining the specialty of an electrical installer. After finishing the vocational school, he worked at a construction company. Then, for over 15 years, he worked at the Open (Public) Joint Stock Company "Ukrgrafit" (Zaporizhzhia): as a machinist, repairman, and CNC machine setter. For the last 2 years, he worked as a programmer at a private company in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). On January 28, 2015, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Zaporizhzhia United City Military Commissariat. He served as a gunner and then as a tank commander of the 2nd tank company of the tank battalion of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1008 (field post V0259), in the city of Volodymyr-Volynskyi, Volyn region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Mad Hedgehog." On August 12, 2015, Senior Soldier Oleksandr Yezhov, along with other servicemen, was returning from the front line in a "Mitsubishi Pajero" vehicle. At 17:20, near the village of Novoselivka in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region, the driver lost control of the vehicle, went off the roadway, and overturned. As a result of the traffic accident, the passenger of the vehicle, Senior Soldier Oleksandr Yezhov, died from his injuries at the scene.
