Oleksandr B. Sherov

Sherov Oleksandr Borysovych was born on December 9, 1982, in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. After graduating from a secondary school and a military educational institution, he served in the military with the rank of officer. Since the beginning of the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2014, he has repeatedly been in the Donbas as part of the ATO and the Joint Forces Operation. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the senior lieutenant was at the forefront as part of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He was killed on March 7, 2022, as a result of an air strike during the battles in the Kyiv region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen took place on March 13, 2022, in his native village of the Teteriv rural community in the Zhytomyr region.
