Oleksandr H. Botsoroha

Soldier Oleksandr Bochoroha was killed in action on June 21, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Borivske, Luhansk region. The defender was 28 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Osykuvate, Kirovohrad region. In his childhood, he moved with his family to the village of Oleksiyivka. There, the boy finished a local school. After graduation, he worked as a tractor driver at an agricultural enterprise. He loved his job and machinery very much. He adored fishing: both summer and winter. On the third day of the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr joined the ranks of the 121st separate brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. "Our Sashko was a sincere, kind, bright, always smiling person, had many friends, was respected in the team, everyone called him Sanyok (little one). He had a very good family, a beloved wife Victoria, adored his daughter Eugenia. He was ready to be the first to come to the rescue, at parties he was the soul of the company. Even after a long time after his death, we cannot believe that he is no longer with us, that he is now protecting us from heaven. OUR HERO, our Sanyok (little one)," said the godmother of the defender Natalia. The serviceman was buried in the village of Oleksiyivka, Kirovohrad region. Oleksandr left behind a wife and daughter.
