Oleksandr H. Sprynchane (Hrizli)

Oleksandr Sprynchane (call sign Grizzly) was killed in action on July 6, 2022, near the village of Verkhniokamianske in Donetsk region. The 28-year-old defender was mortally wounded in the chest during the shelling. Oleksandr Sprynchane was born in the village of Velykosillia, Chernivtsi region. He stu at the Chernivtsi Professional Lyceum of Service, where he received the profession of a computer operator and layout designer. In 2014, Oleksandr joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 80th Separate Assault Brigade, he participated in the ATO. In 2018, he returned to civilian life. He worked in a security company. He lived in Lviv. He loved fishing. He also stu mycology. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian occupiers, Oleksandr went to war again. He was a gunner-air defense gunner in his native unit. Alexander was extremely brave, courageous, went to defend the Motherland without waiting for a summons. He loved life boundlessly, loved his family with all his heart. He adored family trips, fishing, walking in the woods. He was very polite, sincere, with a great kind heart. People were drawn to him, he was the soul of the company. He had many plans that he did not have time to implement in life. A golden man, this is an irreparable loss of my life, his wife Bohdana said. The defender was buried on the Mars Field in Lviv. Oleksandr left behind his parents, wife, and son. Senior soldier Oleksandr Sprynchane was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, III degree.
