- Junior Lieutenant Oleksandr Stoyanov (call sign Archie) was killed on January 25, 2024, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Verbove, Zaporizhia region. A month earlier, on December 27, the warrior turned 39 years old. Oleksandr was born in Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, Odesa region. He lived in Odesa. In 2007, he graduated from the National University "Odesa Polytechnic" with a degree in "Computer Systems and Networks". Even during his studies, he became interested in 3D visualization. This was his hobby, which grew into a lifelong pursuit. Since 2011, he has worked as a visualizer in the architectural department of the construction company "Budova", loved his work very much and was an excellent specialist. However, the full-scale war forced the man to change his profession and take up arms. Oleksandr joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 82nd separate air assault brigade. He was the commander of a mortar platoon. In December 2023, he was awarded the badge of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine "Cross of the Air Assault Troops". "It's hard for me to find the words, because Sashko was the best. The best man, dad, son, friend. Very kind and very sensitive. Responsible. Everyone respected and valued him. He never had conflicts with anyone. He saw only the good in people. He always helped everyone who turned to him. He adored his family. He adored his work. He did not hide from the military registration and enlistment office. He went to defend the country consciously," said the officer's wife Yulia. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Western Cemetery in Odesa. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his mother, wife and son, who was 6 years old at the time of his father's death.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
