- 28-year-old senior shooter Oleksandr Tsapryka (call sign Synyok) died on October 28, 2022, in a hospital in Kryvyi Rih from injuries sustained the day before. On October 26, the fighter was caught under artillery fire near Dudsiany in the Kherson region. It took a long time to evacuate him from the battlefield, and he lost a lot of blood. During the evacuation, the defender's heart stopped twice, and it happened for the third time in the hospital. Oleksandr was born in Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). After school, he trained as a welder. He worked as a locksmith at a factory. From 2012 to 2016, he served in the army and participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). After the army, he went to work in Poland. He returned to Ukraine in 2019. He worked as a security guard, warehouseman, and welder. In his free time, he loved to travel, watch movies, and play computer games. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he welded anti-tank hedgehogs. In May, he received a summons and returned to defend Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Kosty Hordiienko. "Sasha was a real man. He could solve any problem. He was very communicative, caring, stress-resistant, and never complained about anything. We had been together for almost 5 years. We wanted to get married and dreamed of having children. There will be no one better than you in this world for me. I love you. Why does war take the best away?.." said his beloved girlfriend, Maryhita. Oleksandr was buried at the Alley of Honorary Burials in the Far Eastern Cemetery in his hometown of Kropyvnytskyi. His grandmother, mother, sister, and beloved girlfriend awaited his return from war but never saw their defender again.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
