Biography
Avdieiev Oleksandr Ivanovych was born on August 12, 1983, in the village of Hannusivka, Tysmenytsia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 2006, he graduated from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University with a degree in Political Science. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity. Directly from the Maidan in 2014, he went as a volunteer to participate in the war in eastern Ukraine. As part of the "Right Sector" and "Donbas" battalions, he fought near the cities of Popasna, Marinka, and the village of Pisky. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront. He was killed on April 13, 2022, in battles near Kharkiv, while serving in the 226th battalion of the Kharkiv territorial defense. He evacuated his unit from the hellish artillery barrage, but he himself received a fatal shrapnel wound. The farewell ceremony for the fallen took place on April 18, 2022, in his native village of the Yezupil settlement territorial community in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. He was bid farewell in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, where priests from all neighboring parishes performed the funeral rite.Burial place
