Oleksandr I. Danyliuk (Kalyna)

Shooter Oleksandr Danyliuk (call sign Kalyna) was killed on December 14, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Ternі in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 28 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region. He stuwas killed at Kalynivka School No. 2. Then he graduated from Hushchyntsi Higher Vocational School and Koziatyn Interregional Higher Vocational School of Railway Transport. He stuwas killed at a music school, above all he loved to play the trumpet and guitar. He liked books by modern Ukrainian authors. He always took care of his pets. Every year he brought the Bethlehem Peace Light to the homes of Kalynivka residents. He was a member of the national scout organization "Plast". He took part in the Revolution of Dignity, fought in the ATO in Donbas. On February 24, 2022, Oleksandr again stood up to defend Ukraine, joining the Vinnytsia Territorial Defense Forces. He fought as part of the 111th battalion of the 119th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For 10 months he took part in fierce battles in the Donetsk region. "In my heart, Sashunya will forever remain cheerful, kind and sensitive. A true patriot who loves his country. Even at the front, he helped the animals, for which he was called the Dog Father. You will be with me forever. I thank you for the love, care and tenderness, with you I felt loved. We had many plans that, unfortunately, will not come true now. I love you and will remember your words that you will always be by my side, no matter what happens," said the fallen fighter's beloved girlfriend Veronika. The warrior was buried in his hometown. Oleksandr is survived by his parents and his beloved girlfriend.
