Oleksandr I. Novak

Oleksandr Ivanovych Novak was born on September 26, 1979, in the village of Maly Mydsk, Rivne district, Rivne region. During the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2015, he was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served under contract. Before and after returning from the ATO, he worked as a tractor driver at a local agricultural enterprise. In 2018, Oleksandr Novak was awarded a certificate of honor from the Rivne Regional Council for his high patriotism, boundless love for Ukraine, and on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he voluntarily went to the recruitment office for mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Oleksandr Novak was killed on March 21, 2022, during a massive artillery shelling near the city of Popasna in the Luhansk region. The deceased was buried on March 28, 2022, in the village of Maly Mydsk in Rivne region, where he was born, lived, and worked.
