Oleksandr I. Orynchuk (Trol)

26-year-old Sergeant Oleksandr Orynchuk (call sign Troll) was killed on November 21, 2023 near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. When the man was on a combat mission, an enemy grenade exploded nearby. At the cost of his own life, the defender saved two comrades. Oleksandr was a resident of Chernivtsi. He graduated from secondary school No. 37 there. He led an active lifestyle, including playing football. He worked mostly abroad. He spent his free time with his loved ones. During the full-scale invasion, the man became a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the ranks of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade. "He was a kind and sincere person," said his beloved Anna Klymenko. Oleksandr was buried in the central cemetery in Chernivtsi. The warrior is survived by his parents, son, sister, nephew, and common-law wife. The military was posthumously awarded the medal "Defender of the Fatherland".
