Oleksandr I. Popyk

Olexandr Ivanovych Popik was born on August 23, 1997, in the village of Stovpyn, Koretskyi district, Rivne region. In 2004, he began his studies at Stovpyn Gymnasium. In 2007, the family moved to the village of Velyka Sovpa, Bereznivskyi district, Rivne region, where Olexandr graduated from Sovpivska Secondary School in 2012. In November 2019, Olexandr began his compulsory military service in a separate airborne assault brigade. Four years after his service, he signed a contract and continued his service in the airborne assault brigade. He was killed on February 26, 2022, in battle in the Kherson region.
