- Born on October 16, 1982, in the village of Karpylivka, Sribnyansky District, Chernihiv Oblast. In 2000, he graduated from the general education school of Karpylivka village. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2002, he worked as a mechanizer in the agricultural society with limited liability "Batkivshchyna" in the village of Kalyuzyntsi, Sribnyansky District, Chernihiv Oblast. On August 14, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a senior gunner of the mortar battery of the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi District (since 2016 - Lymansky District), Odesa Oblast). Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 26, 2015, at 07:00, during a shelling from the Grad multiple rocket launcher at the brigade's positions in the area of the city of Marinka, Donetsk Oblast, soldier Tatsenko received a severe shrapnel wound. The serviceman was evacuated to the central district hospital of the city of Selydove, Donetsk Oblast, where he died from his injuries.
