- Born on March 25, 1985, in the city of Krolevets, Sumy region. Graduated from general education school No. 2 in Krolevets, then from vocational technical school No. 32 (now Reutynsk Professional Agrarian Lyceum, village of Reutyntsi, Krolevets district, Sumy region) and obtained the profession of "Electrician." In April 2003, he was drafted for compulsory military service, then served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a cadet (deputy commander of BMP-2 - operator-gunner) of the 354th training mechanized regiment of the 169th training guards Zvenyhorodskyi Red Banner and Suvorov order center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1048, urban-type settlement Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Then he was a senior mechanic-driver of T-64 BM "Bulat" and T-64 B-1 tanks, commander of a T-64 B-1 tank of the 1st separate guards tank Novgorod Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Alexander Nevsky, and Red Star brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, urban-type settlement Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). He was discharged to the reserve. From August 1, 2014, to April 8, 2015, he served in the military under partial mobilization as a shooter of the 2nd regiment of protection of especially important state objects of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3022, city of Shostka, Sumy region). From May 21, 2015, to December 17, 2016, he again served in the military under partial mobilization in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From May 21 to June 30, 2015, he was a cadet of the 169th training center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, urban-type settlement Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). From June 30, 2015, to December 17, 2016, he was a shooter-assistant grenade launcher, senior shooter of the 93rd separate mechanized Kharkiv brigade of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, urban-type settlement Cherkaské, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). In 2015-2016, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was wounded. From January 30, 2017, he served under contract in the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Operational Command "North" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1376 (field post V0425), city of Konotop, Sumy region). Since 2017, he again participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On December 13, 2017, junior sergeant Tereshchenko was killed while performing official duties in the Novoaidar district of Luhansk region.
