- Sergeant Oleksandr Tsymbaliuk (call sign Persona) was killed on January 14, 2023, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. An enemy mine took the life of the warrior, who would have turned 48 in 5 days. Oleksandr was born in the village of Telizhyntsi, Kyiv region. He studied at the local school. Then he graduated from the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, obtained the profession of an agronomist. He worked as a driver at the "Imperia-Stroy" enterprise in Kyiv. During the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his family and his home. He held the position of assistant gunner in the machine gun platoon of military unit A4064. "My dad has a good heart. He is the calmest person I know. A man of his word and honor. He went to war as a volunteer on March 13, 2022. For me, dad is a friend with whom we could discuss anything. I have never seen him cry, he is a courageous hero and a son of his Motherland. Everyone asked: 'Why did he go, without thinking about you?'. But he went to this damned war because he was constantly thinking about us. So that we wouldn't know what war is, sitting in Kyiv in the warmth, while he was sitting in a trench and freezing from the cold. I never heard that it was hard for him. When I asked: 'How are you?', he answered: 'Better than everyone!'. It seems to me that I am the person with whom he could talk on the phone longer than with anyone else, because he doesn't really like phone conversations. Our conversation with dad ends with my: 'Happiness, health, nephews', and dad's: 'You too, let's talk tomorrow'. And this tomorrow did not come and will never come. He never hid, this is his life principle, and he instilled it in us. He will always be the best man, dad and courageous warrior. Everyone says that heroes don't die, but today we see otherwise. Heroes perish because they don't hide behind skirts and don't come up with excuses not to go and defend their children," said the daughter of the fallen Mariya. Oleksandr was buried in the village of Mykhailivka, Kyiv region. The defender left behind his father Ivan Ivanovych, wife Natalia, daughters Mariya and Viktoriia, and sons Oleksandr and Maksym.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
