Oleksandr K. Machulskyi

Machuslkyi Oleksandr Kostiantynovich was born on October 15, 1997. He studied at the V.T. Senator Gymnasium in Smila, Cherkasy region. He graduated with honors from the Znamenka Railway College, where he obtained the profession of locomotive driver's assistant. In 2020, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, he held the position of commander of the 1st airborne section of the 2nd airborne platoon of the 10th airborne company of the 4th airborne battalion. In May 2022, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. He was killed on January 18, 2023, during an artillery bombardment near the city of Soledar in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. He was buried on January 26, 2023, in the Alley of Glory in the city of Smila, Cherkasy region. He is survived by his parents, wife, and daughter.
