- Senior soldier Oleksandr Tverdokhlivov (call sign Tverdyi) was killed on May 9, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Makiivka in the Luhansk region. While delivering ammunition to a firing position, he encountered an enemy anti-tank mine, resulting in fatal multiple shrapnel wounds. He would have turned 27 years old on June 28. Oleksandr was born in the village of Pechenske, Khmilnytskyi region. He lived in the village of Sudylkiv. He graduated from the Novousytskyi College of the Podilskyi State Agrarian and Technical University, specializing in "Operation and Repair of Machines and Equipment for Agro-Industrial Production" and obtained the qualification of agricultural production technician-mechanic. In peaceful life, he worked in construction, repairing houses and apartments. From 2016 to 2019, he served in the military under a contract. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) / Joint Forces Operation (JFO). With the start of the full-scale war, he joined the ranks of the defenders again. Oleksandr served in the 106th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He was a senior gunner of the mortar platoon of the 88th separate battalion. "The dearest, sensitive, and brave. He was always ready to help everyone, not afraid of difficulties. It is impossible to tell about the whole pain of this loss. He left this life, leaving his little copy - our son..." - shared the wife of the fallen warrior. Oleksandr was buried in the village of Sudylkiv, Khmilnytskyi region. His wife Anna and son Illia did not get to see their hero. The defender was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
