Oleksandr L. Buzko (Maestro)

Soldier Oleksandr Buzko (call sign Maestro) was killed in action on April 26, 2022, during a hostile artillery attack near the town of Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast. The fighter was 41 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). He graduated from Kirovohrad Higher Vocational School No. 4 and received the profession of electrician. He was a creative person. He was involved in music, wrote poetry, and performed his own songs. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr went to defend his native country. He was a rifleman of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. "From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Sasha joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was brave, courageous, brave, sincere. He was the best husband, a true warrior, and defender of his country," said the fighter's wife, Kateryna. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. Oleksandr is survived by his wife and daughter. Soldier Oleksandr Buzko was posthumously awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".
