Oleksandr L. Osadchuk (Osa)

31-year-old senior soldier Oleksandr Osadchuk (call sign Osa) died on October 11, 2023 in the hospital. On September 1, during the performance of a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region, he received severe injuries. Doctors fought for his life until the end. Oleksandr was from the village of Stryzhavka in the Vinnytsia region. He studied at the local Lyceum No. 1. Then he graduated from the Vinnytsia Center for Vocational Education No. 1 and obtained the qualification of a painter-plasterer, tiler. In 2014, he participated in the ATO. Before the full-scale invasion, he worked at the "Krupovit" enterprise. In April 2022, the man returned to the ranks of the defenders and again went to the front to defend his country from the occupiers. He served in the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a sapper in the engineering and sapper unit. "My brother was a sincere person, he always helped everyone, always smiled and was positive," said Ivan Osadchuk. Oleksandr was buried in his native Stryzhavka. He is survived by a brother.
