- Sniper shooter Oleksandr Stanishevskyi (call sign Alex) died on July 30, 2024 near the village of Klymentove in Sumy region. The fighter's unit was carrying out a combat mission, crossing the Vorskla River. The defender was 37 years old. Oleksandr was from the village of Sestrynyvka in Vinnytsia region. After finishing school, he entered the Kozeiatyn Vocational School, where he obtained the profession of a wagon inspector-repairman and a passenger car conductor. In civilian life, he worked as a conductor. He lived with his family in the city of Kozeiatyn. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, holding the position of a sniper shooter in the 4th Airborne Assault Platoon, 3rd Airborne Assault Company, 1st Airborne Assault Battalion. "Oleksandr was very kind and loving. The best husband and father. He always encouraged the children to study, as this is the key to a good future. He loved speed - he rode a motorcycle or a car. He loved to fish with his son and godfather. Before the full-scale war, he took us to the sea every year. We miss him very much," said his wife Kateryna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory in the city of Kozeiatyn, Vinnytsia region. Oleksandr is survived by his wife Kateryna, son Kyrylo and daughter Anna.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
