Oleksandr M. Andreiko

Soldier Oleksandr Andreiko was killed on August 26, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers for his native Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Keramik in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 40 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Chapayevka (now the village of Malki) in the Poltava region. In 1984, when he was a year old, the family moved to the village of Lazyrkі. There he studied at the secondary school. After graduating from the 9th grade, he entered the Lazyrki Vocational School No. 46, where he obtained the specialty of a tractor-machine operator in agricultural production. Then he worked in various branches of agriculture in his native village. Before the invasion, he was a security guard at the SFG "Nove-2". During the full-scale war, the man served in the 1st separate Siverska tank brigade. He held the position of senior gunner of the anti-tank platoon of the mechanized battalion. He took part in hostilities in the Donetsk region. "Dad was always smiling, loving and understanding, constantly helping and supporting," said the deceased's daughter Dariya. "He was a reliable comrade, friend, loving husband and father, son, brother," added his wife Tetyana. The military was buried in the village of Lazyrkі in the Poltava region. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his wife, daughter and son.
