Oleksandr M. Bardakov

Paratrooper Oleksandr Bardakov was killed on June 17, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 35 years old. Oleksandr was from the village of Mozhniakivka, Luhansk region. In 2013, he graduated from the Luhansk National Agrarian University, obtaining a degree in construction. Later, he settled in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. He worked as a chief specialist in the project and technical department of the capital construction and long-term development department of the Kramatorsk City Council. He was married, a good family man, a loving husband and a caring father of his only daughter. Family was the most important thing in his life. He tried to devote his free time to his family and shared recreation. He loved fishing, tennis and football, and had a tradition of going to the bathhouse with friends every weekend. In the early days of the full-scale war, Oleksandr went to the military enlistment office. He joined the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought for his country as part of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade. He took part in battles for his native Luhansk region, in particular for the cities of Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk. In May 2022, Sergeant Oleksandr Bardakov was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree, and posthumously - the Order of Courage of the II degree. "Oleksandr was the best friend, colleague and just a good person for us. Always polite and straightforward. Our team has lost a very good specialist and friend," said Svitlana Danileichenko, a colleague of the deceased. The military was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Ivanivskyi cemetery near Kramatorsk. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, daughter, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
