Oleksandr M. Kryvokhyzha

Senior soldier Oleksandr Kryvohyzha (call sign Painter) died on January 10, 2024 near the village of Veselie in the Donetsk region. While repelling an enemy assault, he sustained fatal injuries. The defender was 28 years old. Oleksandr was from the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region. He lived in the village of Rohoziv. He studied at the Pereiaslav Vocational School and obtained the qualification of a gas welder. He worked as a car mechanic. He was interested in cars and everything related to them, including painting, plastering, and welding work. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He served in the 21st separate special purpose battalion. He was a platoon security driver. "There are no such people... Everyone knows him as a responsible, intelligent, purposeful, man of his word, always cheerful, non-conflictual. The best dad and the best godfather," his wife Vita described the deceased. Oleksandr was buried in the village of Rohoziv in the Kyiv region. He left behind his mother, wife, daughter, other relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.
