  Born on April 5, 1982, in the village of Kapustine of the Zhovtnevy (since 2016 - Vitovsky) district of Mykolaiv region. In the spring of 2014, he was mobilized to the 79th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, city of Mykolaiv). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 24, 2014, Senior Soldier Kucherenko was killed at 20:45 during shelling by Russian-terrorist groups using BM-21 "Grad" multiple rocket launchers at the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Dyakove in the Antratsyt district of Luhansk region. On July 29, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Kapustine of the Zhovtnevy (since 2016 - Vitovsky) district.
