- 34-year-old Senior Sergeant Oleksandr Kutovyi (call sign Sanchos) was killed on November 4, 2022 near the village of Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received a fatal explosive injury. Oleksandr was from the city of Vasylkiv in the Kyiv region. He graduated from Vasylkiv School No. 9. Then he studied at the Kyiv Electromechanical Technical School of Railway Transport named after Mykola Ostrovsky. He loved transport, especially vintage cars. In 2015-2016, the man participated in the ATO in Donbas. He served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. On the first day of the full-scale war, Oleksandr returned to the ranks of his native brigade to defend Ukraine from the occupiers again. He held the position of driver. During his service, the soldier was awarded the medal "For Courage in Battle". "I am the sister of Oleksandr's comrade-in-arms with the call sign Doc, with whom they was killed together. Personally, unfortunately, I did not know him closely, but I met him once, and that was enough to see a good person in him. I know many stories from comrades-in-arms about Sasha, how he without any doubt went to evacuate the wounded guys, taking them out of the very hell, thereby saving more than one life. Sasha was a faithful comrade, an example of a man and a comrade-in-arms. Reliable, courageous and determined. Glory to the Hero of Ukraine! Eternal memory to Sasha, peace and light clouds. Forever in the ranks," said Natalia Kuninets. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Glory in his native Vasylkiv. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his mother, wife, two daughters, sister, brother, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
