Oleksandr M. Liutyi (Liutyi)

Senior soldier Oleksandr Liutyi was killed on August 29, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of Siversk, Donetsk region. The defender was 30 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Mykhailivka, Zaporizhia region. He lived in the village of Novovolodymyrivka. He received secondary education. He worked as a construction worker. He was interested in technology and fishing. But he loved to spend most of his free time with his family. In 2016, the man went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. During the full-scale war, he fought for his country in the ranks of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the eastern direction of the front. "He was a good person and loved his family very much," said the mother of the fallen Iryna Volodymyrivna. The warrior was buried at the Kushuhum cemetery near Zaporizhia. Oleksandr is survived by his parents, sister, wife and son.
