Oleksandr M. Mamasuiev (Mamas)

Sergeant Oleksandr Mamasuiev (call sign Mamas) was killed on July 1, 2023 near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. He received a fatal gunshot wound during the assault. The defender was 44 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Novomykolaivka, Sumy region. He lived in the city of Vorozhba. He received secondary education. He worked as a boner at the Tyshkivskyi meat processing plant in the Kharkiv region. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. During the full-scale war, the man was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stood up to defend his native country in the ranks of the 5th separate assault brigade. He held the position of deputy commander of the combat vehicle - gunner-operator. "My husband was a true patriot and a man of his word, he was faithful to the oath. In life, he was very calm, caring, and loved his family very much, the house he bought before the war, but he never got to live in it..." said Inna Mamasuieva. The soldier was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Baranivka cemetery in Sumy. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, sisters, brothers, wife and three children.
