  Killed in action on February 25, 2019, from a gunshot wound to the head in the area of the village of Novooleksandrivka in the Popasna district of Luhansk region. The body of Oleksandr lay at the site of his death until February 27, when the brigade command finally managed to negotiate with the militants for evacuation.
