Oleksandr M. Murashko

Sergeant Oleksandr Murashko was killed on January 26, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Luhansk region. The defender was 44 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Novoivanivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. He obtained the profession of a gas welder at a vocational school. He worked as a tractor driver at an enterprise in the village of Vysoke. He was passionate about cars, tractors, and machinery. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr defended his native country as part of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. "Oleksandr was a very good person, a wonderful father, a good husband, the soul of the company. He stood up to defend Ukraine from the first days," said the late's ex-wife, Valentyna. The military was buried in his native village. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, brother, two sisters, daughter, and ex-wife.
