- Born on November 25, 1982, in the urban-type settlement of Dmytrivka, Bakhmach district, Chernihiv region. In 2000, he graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Dmytrivka. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2000. In 2004, he graduated from the Odesa Institute of Ground Forces (now - Military Academy, city of Odesa). He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998 (field post V4680), city of Yavoriv, Lviv region), with his last position being commander of the staff company of the 3rd mechanized battalion. Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 24, 2015, during the battles for the village of Krymske in the Novoydar district of Luhansk region, Captain Pashchenko received serious injuries. The severely wounded officer was initially taken to a hospital in the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk region, and then to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Northern Region (city of Kharkiv), where he died from his injuries on January 29, 2015. On January 31, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Dmytrivka, Bakhmach district, Chernihiv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
