- Soldier Oleksandr Patalakha (call sign Said) was killed on March 17, 2023 near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. The defender was 36 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Lozova Vocational Lyceum No. 36. He was a construction worker by profession. He worked at the Lozova Forging and Mechanical Plant. He loved to spend his free time with his family. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man sought to protect his relatives and the Motherland from the occupiers. In December 2022, he joined the army. He served in the ranks of the 5th separate brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He took the position of a rifleman in the 3rd rifle battalion and went to the front line. "Oleksandr was a real man, a good comrade, an ideal loving father and just a good person. He is our Hero," his wife Iryna said. The National Guard soldier was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in his hometown. At home, Oleksandr was awaited by his parents, wife and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
