Oleksandr M. Sosiedkin

Marine Alexander Sosedkin was killed on September 14, 2022 while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Biloghirka, Kherson region. The defender was 45 years old. Alexander was born in Zaporizhzhia. He graduated from the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy. He worked as a maintenance mechanic at the Zaporizhzhia Transformer Plant. In 2015 and 2017, he participated in the ATO as part of a volunteer battalion. On the second day of the full-scale war, on February 25, 2022, Alexander again arrived at the military enlistment office. He joined the 137th separate marine battalion of the 35th brigade. And he went again to defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders. However, unfortunately, this time the veteran did not return from the war. "Alexander was an honest, conscientious, loving father. He always helped his relatives. We are very proud of the defender," said the soldier's wife. The defender was buried in the cemetery of St. Nicholas in his native Zaporizhzhia. Alexander left behind a wife and daughter.
