- Born on May 8, 1979, in the urban-type settlement of Borova, Fastiv district, Kyiv region. In 1996, he graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Borova. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked in a security structure and in construction. In 2015, he was mobilized into the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served as a sniper in the special forces platoon of the 21st separate brigade of public order protection of the Central operational-territorial association of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3011, city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 10, 2016, soldier Svirsky received a severe shrapnel wound to the head near the urban-type settlement of Zaytseve, Horlivka city council (now Bakhmut district) in Donetsk region. The wounded serviceman was airlifted to the Mechnikov Regional Clinical Hospital in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). Doctors fought for the life of Oleksandr Svirsky, but their efforts proved futile. On March 12, 2016, at 11:30 PM, the serviceman died. On March 15, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Borova, Fastiv district, Kyiv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
