- Soldier Oleksandr Andriichuk (call sign Junior) was killed on March 24, 2023 in battle near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 30 years old. Oleksandr was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from school No. 325. He studied at the Kyiv National Linguistic University. He worked as an English translator. In his free time, he wrote poems. He was passionate about music, wrote rap lyrics, participated in rap battles, and recorded his own tracks. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for Ukraine as part of the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. He held the position of a mortar battery serviceman. "We are proud to have such a friend. He was a creative and extremely talented person who always strived to develop and help others. In our team, Oleksandr was the soul of the company. He always found time to advise his friends or support them in difficult moments. He was an extremely open and friendly person. Sasha showed interest in art, music, and literature. His creativity was always very expressive and original. Oleksandr's death is an irreparable loss for us. We honor the memory of our friend and pay tribute to his sacrifice so that his memory lives on in the hearts of friends and colleagues forever. Let us remember that Oleksandr was a strong and courageous man who always remained faithful to his ideals and principles. He will always be alive in our hearts, and we will never forget him," wrote his friend Kateryna on behalf of colleagues and friends. The defender was buried at the Lisovyi Cemetery in his native Kyiv. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, girlfriend, and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
