Oleksandr O. Antypiuk (Antyp)

Senior Sergeant Oleksandr Antypiuk (call sign Antyp) was killed on August 13, 2022, while performing his duties in the area of the city of Bilozerka in the Donetsk region. Oleksandr was born in the village of Lukyantsi, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the local school and vocational school No. 22. He was interested in motorcycles and cars. He was fond of military affairs. Since 2011, he has served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, he has been participating in ATO/OOS. On February 24, 2022, Oleksandr turned 30 years old. At that time, he was the commander of a tank in the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. On the same day, he went to defend the capital from Russian occupiers along with his comrades. After the liberation of Kyiv region, their unit went to defend directions. During his service, Oleksandr was repeatedly awarded medals, including the medal "For the Defense of the Native State" and the badge of honor "Badge of Honor", as well as certificates and thanks. "My brother had 11 years of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He repeatedly took part in ATO and OOS. During his service, he lost many comrades during the execution of various combat tasks," said Vitaliy Antypiuk. The warrior was buried in the village of Berezhchi in Volyn, where he lived with his family. Oleksandr left behind his parents, brothers, sisters, wife, two sons, and a daughter.
