- Soldier Oleksandr Besarab (call sign Busurman) was killed on November 13, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. He was 47 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Bohdanivka, Mykolaiv region. He graduated from Marynivske Vocational School and obtained the profession of a cook. He moved to the Kirovohrad region, to the village of Volodymyrivka. In civilian life, he worked as a combine harvester operator on a farm and as a mining equipment repairman. In his free time, he loved fishing. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). On February 27, 2022, the man took up arms again and went to war. He served in the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman-medic. He received the award "For Wounds". "Sashko was very kind, hardworking, and loved children," said the wife of his brother Tetiana. The warrior was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in the village of Volodymyrivka, Kirovohrad region. Oleksandr is survived by his mother, son, and brother with his family. Oleksandr Besarab was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
