Oleksandr O. Chaban (Filosof)

Chaban Oleksandr Oleksandrovych was born on August 17, 1987 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. A graduate of the Faculty of Sociology, Master of Political Science, chairman of the Student Scientific Society in 2009-2013 and a leader of student self-government at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. He was engaged in entrepreneurial activities, and later studied at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. Since 2014, he has been defending Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, he was again called up for military service to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Senior Lieutenant, serviceman of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was killed on July 20, 2022 in battles with Russian invaders near the village of Grakove, Kharkiv region. A daughter was left behind.
