Oleksandr O. Dabizha (Samalot)

Soldier Oleksandr Dabizha (call sign Samoliot) was killed on February 19, 2023, while performing his duties near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The defender was 24 years old. Oleksandr was from the village of Krasnohirka in the Kirovohrad region. He studied at the local school. He then graduated from the Holovanivsk Vocational School No. 38. He served in the military. In civilian life, he worked as a construction worker. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man again took up the defense of his country from the occupiers. He held the position of deputy commander of a combat vehicle in the 69th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "He was a very good person, and we miss him," said the friends of the deceased. The warrior was buried in his native village. Oleksandr left behind a sister, two nephews, other relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.
