Biography
Olexandr Oleksandrovych Hryshchenko was born on February 5, 1998, in Mykolaiv. He studied at the Mykolaiv Lyceum. In 2015, he entered the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S. P. Korolyov, which he graduated from in 2020 with a gold medal. Later, he served in the combined communication unit of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). At the time of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Special Communication Center of the stationary communication unit. He was killed during the redeployment in the area of the "Lisny" sanatorium (Dnipro city), sustaining injuries incompatible with life. He was buried on March 1, 2022, in Mykolaiv. Olexandr is survived by his parents, sister, wife, and little daughter. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Olexandr Oleksandrovych Hryshchenko was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Military service
