Oleksandr O. Maslo

Soldier Oleksandr Maslo was killed on May 13, 2023 near the village of Orikovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he came under artillery fire and received fatal injuries. The warrior was 28 years old. Oleksandr was born in the city of Selidove, Donetsk region. He studied at the Donetsk Higher Professional Machine-Building College. He worked as a drifter in the Pokrovske mine administration. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 23rd separate motorized infantry battalion "Khortytsia" of the 56th separate motorized infantry Mariupol brigade. He fought for his native Donetsk region. "He was a very kind and sensitive person. Cheerful, responsible," said the deceased's sister Alina. The defender was buried at the Stepnoy cemetery in his hometown. Oleksandr is survived by his father, three sisters, wife and son.
