Oleksandr O. Oshchenko (Multyk)

Oleksandr Oshchenko (call sign Multyk) was killed on August 18, 2022, during the defense of Donetsk region. Near the village of Stary Karavan, the warrior's life was cut short by a bullet from an enemy sniper. Oleksandr was born in Kyiv. He graduated from local secondary school No. 103. In 2004, he obtained the profession of an electric gas welder-body repairer at the Kyiv Professional Lyceum of Transport. He worked as a welder at the company "Lordon LTD". He lived with his family in Vyshhorod near Kyiv. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Oleksandr joined the Vyshhorod security company. Then he was transferred to the 79th separate airborne assault brigade as a rifleman. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he went to the frontline. "My husband will forever remain in our memory as a brave, caring, and loving father. He is our Hero. The pain and loss will never fade. He will forever be our guardian angel," said the wife of the fallen. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory in Vyshhorod. At home in Vyshhorod, Oleksandr was awaited by his wife Svitlana and son Maksym.
