Oleksandr O. Palyha (Kiborh)

Prykordonnyk Oleksandr Palyha (call sign Cyborg) was killed in battle on November 8, 2023 in the area of the village of Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region. While repelling an enemy assault, he sustained a fatal mine-explosive injury as a result of a drone attack. Oleksandr was from the city of Kharkiv. After finishing school, he obtained the profession of a truck crane driver at the local vocational school No. 9. For about 15 years, he worked as a poultry meat boner at the meat processing plant LLC "SPK "Veles". He dedicated his free time to his family, whom he loved more than anything. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his country and his loved ones in the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He served in the 4th (Kharkiv) border detachment. "The man who made me happy. The father who adored his first child, whom he had been waiting for so long. The person who loved his family very much," - this is how the deceased was described by his civil wife Alevtyna Yakushyna. Oleksandr was buried in the Alley of Glory of Cemetery No. 18 in Kharkiv. At home, his parents, wife and daughter, who was not even 2 years old at the time of his death, were waiting for him.
