- Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Petukhov (call sign Tykhyy) was killed on June 4, 2022, during an enemy artillery shelling near the village of Zahrativka, Kherson region. In 11 days, the defender would have turned 48 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Komsomolske (Russia). He received his higher education at the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute. In peacetime, he worked at the Artem-1 mine. He loved fishing, adored the sea and ships. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine, replenishing the ranks of the 17th separate tank brigade. He held the position of tank platoon gunner. Sasha was a loving father and husband. He had an extremely subtle sense of humor. The soul of the company, a good friend. He always came to the rescue. A real man, said his wife Svitlana Avramenko about the deceased. Oleksandr Petukhov was buried in the city of Kryvyi Rih. The warrior left behind a wife and three children.
