Oleksandr O. Polozhevych

Olexandr Olexandrovych Polozhevych was born on March 1, 1989, in the city of Novyi Rozdil, Lviv Oblast. In 1995, he started the 1st grade at general education school No. 2 in his hometown. He then received an education at the Novyi Rozdil Vocational School of Construction and Household Services, mastering the specialty of "Construction." He worked in his field. In 2019, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he voluntarily went to the enlistment office for mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Olexandr Polozhevych was killed on March 16, 2022, during a massive artillery shelling near the city of Popasna in Luhansk Oblast. The deceased was buried on March 27, 2022, in his hometown.
