Oleksandr O. Shynkarenko (Teror)

Shynkarenko Oleksandr Oleksandrovych was born on October 24, 1991 in the Poltava region. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was mobilized and was at the forefront as part of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. He held the military position of combat medic of the 2nd airborne assault platoon of military unit A 1493. He died on May 6, 2022 during a massive shelling of the village of Malynivka near the city of Huliaipole, Zaporizhia region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen serviceman took place on May 10, 2022 near the Holy Dormition Cathedral in the city of Poltava. Oleksandr Shynkarenko was buried on May 10, 2022 at the Zaturynske cemetery in the city of Poltava. For personal courage and heroism shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Shynkarenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously).
